VictimsFirst Buffalo Funds Transferred to the National Compassion Fund

On July 5, 2022, VictimsFirst deactivated our Buffalo Mass Shooting Help The Families Fund on GoFundMe.

Through GoFundMe, we were able to collect $142,088.00 for the victims/survivors of the mass shooting in Buffalo, New York that occurred on May 14, 2022.

Total transaction fees charged through GoFundMe were $4,581.53, so the total amount VictimsFirst received through the fundraising platform was $137,506.47.

Along with other donations we collected for Buffalo victims' families and survivors, we have collected a total of $243,590.56.

Every penny of that was granted to the National Compassion Fund's Buffalo 5/14 Survivors Fund on July 7, 2022. This will ensure that 100% of what VictimsFirst collected goes directly to victims' families and survivors.

All future donations that VictimsFirst receives for Buffalo victims will be transferred to the National Compassion Fund before or during the month of September 2022.

We honor all those directly impacted and those whose lives were taken:
